I hope that your Mother’s Day was enjoyable. The weather
certainly cooperated as it was a beautiful sunny day overall. Many people were
out walking along Shore Road enjoying the day.
We enjoyed our day with a visit from Mike and Mary Rush and
their children Ciara and James.
Jean Webster
enjoyed the day by attending the Sea Dog’s game with John.
Last week Jean and John travelled to Deer Isle to attend a
retirement party for John’s brother in law Stu Kestenbaum. Stu retired after 27
years as the director of the Haystack Mt. School of Crafts, congratulations to
Stu and his wife Susan.
By now you should have received the OPCT mailing either electronically
or by postal service. The packet contains all of the pertinent information
needed for the upcoming season regarding the Colony Trust. If you have not received
a packet you are encouraged to contact President Matt Lindley or Treasurer Jen
Klein for membership information. These contacts are available on the Ocean
Point website.
Regarding summer activities there are already a few changes
to the activity calendar. Please note that the 2 golf tournaments (Memorial and
Clamshell) have been moved up a week. The Memorial Tournament will be held on
Saturday July 11 and the Clamshell Tournament will be held Saturday August 8.
These are one week earlier than usually held due to scheduling conflicts with
the golf course,
Also the Rock Property tour scheduled for July 22 will be
moved to another date to be determined.
I hope to see many of you in the upcoming weeks as you
return for the season.
Have a great week!
