It’s hard to imagine that Memorial Day weekend is upon us, I’m
sure many will be returning to open for the season and as you do so you may
find that you are in need of some repair work or small construction job. Paul
Anderson, certified contractor, is available for the season for any project you
may require. You can contact Paul at 941-704-0422
Kim Kruger’s son, David Kaminkow was recently married in
Lake Tahoe to Courtney Pape-Howard. The newly married couple resides in Las
Vegas and hope to travel east this summer to spend time at Ocean Point. Kim’s
daughter Cory will be married October 1 to Edward Butler at the Endicott Estate
outside of Boston.
Jen Dana and Dave Finch are looking forward to their
upcoming nuptials in just a few short weeks.
Congratulations once again to Kate Dana as she surprised her
mom and dad at her commencement graduating summa cum laude.
I would like to remind everyone that there will be a Town
Hall meeting at the Casino on Saturday May 28 beginning at 4:00 P.M. Please plan to attend this all-important
meeting to discuss the future of the OCPT and it’s current assets.
Just a reminder to
all that the Ocean Point Inn will reopen for the season on Friday May 27 and
will include dining and lodging accommodations.
Sue Clark’s book will be available at the Inn on opening
day; it is also being sold at the East Boothbay General Store. Sue is planning
a book signing at the Casino on Sunday July 3 from 12-2.
Monday May 30 is Memorial Day, a day to honor our dead
servicemen and women who courageously put themselves at risk so we may all
enjoy our freedoms. Please take a moment during your holiday celebration to
remember these heroic individuals.
Have a great week and safe travel on the holiday weekend.
