OP when?

I would be very interested in hearing comments about this photo. First question: WHEN taken? Second: can you name homeowners left to right using original names (if known) and today's owner names? Third: can you identify the spot from which the photo was taken? If you download the picture it can be enlarged pretty well without losing too much clarity. On my Windows XP laptop the photo can be downloaded by righ-clicking on it and selecting "Save image as".
