Ocean Point Column
Feb. 13
By Maryellen Bertrand
Well we made it through another snowstorm Thanks to Julie Brown,
Rusty Court and Sue Goodrich for their spectacular pictures of the most recent snowstorm
posted on the Blog. They are a wonderful reminder of how beautiful Ocean Point
is, even if it is winter.
To quote Julie “it snowed and blowed for 14 hours that day."
I guess the groundhog was correct when he said we would have 6 more weeks of
winter.
On a more pleasant day Holly Hornor met up with Judy Dawson
and Ginny Decesare at DiMillos in Portland for lunch. They all had a good time
catching up. Holly recently received a surprise phone call from Chris Ross.
Chris and Marilyn have escaped the cold for the warmer climate of Arizona. Gail
Ross will be joining them soon for some warm weather as well. She is looking
forward to something other than the cold and drifting snow of Michigan. Gail is
involved with her local high school theatre group. They are currently ready to
perform the musical Tarzan.
The news is a little brief this week I hope to have more to
report next week. Enjoy watching the Olympics and have a great week!
