Seasonal Water status

We hit the ground running yesterday with 5 separate crews installing seasonal services system wide in the towns of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor and Southport. With the good weather we made excellent progress and hope to continue that momentum through today.  Keep tabs daily on the matrix below to see if your seasonal service is connected.

We just received word from the lab, all of the water samples taken yesterday within the seasonal water main distribution system returned pathogen free.  As of now, five separate crews are deploying system-wide to begin establishing our seasonal customers services.  Each crew has a separate route and it is impossible for anyone at the district to answer a customer on “when will my service be connected”  We are committed to keeping our customers up-to-date with our progress so please follow along on the matrix postings. We will either post late in the evening during seasonal turn-on or by 8:00 a.m. the following day showing the previous days progress.  Please remember that we completely understand our customers sense of urgency in establishing water service and the ramifications, both residential and as the basis of the summer economy on the Boothbay peninsula, and are doing everything in our power to bring water service to you as safely and as quickly as possible.
