The Maine Sea Coast Mission at Ocean Point Wilson Chapel
on Sunday, July 10, 2016
The Rev. Scott Planting, President of Maine Sea Coast Mission, will lead the service at the Wilson Chapel on Ocean Point on Sunday, July 10th. The offering from that service will be donated to The Maine Sea Coast Mission. The service is at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.
A non-denominational,
non-profit organization, The Maine Sea Coast Mission “provides
spiritual, health, and youth development programs in coastal and island
communities from mid-coast to Downeast Maine.” One of their
far-reaching, high-impactprograms is EDGE, an afters chool program
serving nearly 750 children in Washington County. The Mission
supports coastal and island communities in many ways including providing
valuable medical services via the 75-foot long Sunbeam V. Thanks to the Sunbeam V, when
The Sea Coast Mission is needed, they are there. The Maine Seacoast
Mission has been coming to the Wilson Memorial Chapel on Ocean
Point since the 1930’s.
