As promised by the OPCT Board and the Future Planning
Committees the survey regarding the Preservation Initiative is now available on
the OPCT website. The survey may either be taken on line or downloaded as a
hard copy and sent via mail to Ocean Point Colony Trust 2015 Survey Response
P.O. Box 642 East Boothbay Maine 04544 The Board and the Committee ask that you
complete the survey by January 31 at which time all information will be
compiled and assessed. The survey is quick and easy to take. Thank you for your
input in this most important activity.
I wanted to again remind people of the health challenge
currently being experienced by Ted Kern and his family and to once again
encourage Ocean Pointers and others to support the Family by considering a
donation to their fundraiser. The link to the website is http:
www.crowdrise.com/tedkernfamily1. This information is also on the blog in the
December 17 issue of the column.
There is reason to celebrate in the McGonegal Family due
to the birth of their new granddaughter. Miriam Mae Walsh was born on January
16 to Emily and Joe weighing 9 lbs 1.7 ounces. Congratulations to the proud parents, grandparents and
extended family on such a joyous occasion.
Connie Saindon is enjoying her winter skiing in California
at Mammoth Mountain. Last year California had no natural snow and so skiing was
strictly on man made snow. Connie is grateful that drought conditions have
improved, as has the skiing.
Gail Ross is keeping busy, as she is once again involved
in her local high school’s production of The Little Mermaid to be performed
soon.
I do hope that if you reside in the hard hit areas of the
most recent snowstorm that you received little or no damage.
Have a great week!
