Ocean Point is preparing for what will be a busy summer of activities. Ginny Kern our activity director arrives this coming weekend and will begin to prepare the Casino and surrounding area. The first official activity of the season will be the Horribles Parade on Saturday July 4th beginning at Van Horn Rd. at 9:30 A.M., followed by races and the ball game.

That evening the annual Chicken Barbeque will be held at 6:30 P.M. please bring a salad/side or dessert and provide your own utensils. Tickets may be purchased beginning Monday June 29th through Donna Logan and Ginny Kern. Reserved tables will be made available for parties of 6 or more. Purchase your tickets early, as there is a limited amount of tickets available.

Matt Lindley, President of the OPCT, and the Board of Trustees would like to invite all Ocean Pointers to a town hall event on Sunday evening July 5th from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. The purpose of this special meeting is to update you on the activities of the OPCT and to gather your input and ideas in order to help our community grow and strengthen in the future. Please plan to attend this all-important event.

The first service at the Wilson Memorial Chapel will take place on Sunday June 28th. Rev. Canon John L.C. Mitman, Retired Episcopal Minister will conduct the service beginning at 9:30 A.M.

We have a new member of the Ocean Point community; Christopher A. Webber IV was born June 18th to Chris and Hannah Webber of Grosse Point Michigan. Congratulations to Chris and Hannah and to grandparents Chris and Coco Webber and new uncle, Peter.
