From David Butterworth:

Hello fellow Oceanpointers. This summer a group of individuals is going to start a community garden to benefit the Boothbay Region Food Pantry. It will be located at 69 Rittall Road which is the Salt Water Farm across the street from Miss Piggy on Route 27. We are looking for volunteers and contributions to get it rolling. There will be an organizational meeting next Tuesday, June 11at the garden at 5 PM. We hope to include families so that children experience gardening and enjoy the fruits of this organic garden. Planting day will be Saturday, June 15 from 9-Noon and a rain date of Sunday, June 16 from 2-5. Any questions give me a call.
