If you are a Patriots fan and even if you are not you have to admit that this past Sunday’s Superbowl game was one for the ages. What an amazing comeback by New England in the 4th quarter. I know that Ocean Point Patriots fans as well as many others in the area are extremely happy with the outcome of the game and the many records that were broken as a result. Congratulations to Tom Brady and  Coach Belichick on their 5th Superbowl win together and to the New England Patriots team on an outstanding season.

Unlike California we have been fortunate enough to not have too much snow this winter. Connie Saindon reports that her ski trip to Mammoth Mountain in January was unlike no other due to the amount of snow that the mountain received (200-300) inches thus far. In past ski trips she and her friends average 11 runs per day. However, that was not to be the case this trip as they were only able to make 11 runs for the entire week due to the amount of snow and the snow conditions on many days.

Studio 53 will host an art exhibit this coming weekend February 10-12 titled “What’s Nude In Boothbay Harbor? A celebration of the Human Form” Several Ocean Point artists will be displaying their work: Dick Alden, Carol Palmer and Marylou Ashooh Lazos are among them.

Have a great week!
